Roulette Systems
Over the years, roulette systems have been developed, and some of them will be mentioned in this article. Roulette is a game that is played using a spinning wheel numbered from 0 to 36 in red and black pockets. The wheel is set spinning by the croupier and then a small white ball is spun into the wheel - when the small ball lands in a number that is the winning number.
Players can number from one to eight and they play against the House which is normally the casino. Players need to buy chips to play in the game. Roulette can be played online, as well. Andruchi or Pivot roulette system is based on the Law of the Third and is statistically based. This means that, for 36 roulette spins, only 24 numbers will come up on average, whereas 12 numbers will not, excluding zero.
In fact, how will you know which 24 numbers will come up and which 12 will not? The author of this system recommends that a player watches the game for at least an hour to try and gain this information and then starts to play. Oskar's strategy/system is more about a betting system than trying to beat roulette itself. It consists of three rules
For example - If you win you raise your bet by the same amount you bet the first time
- If you lose you bet the same amount
- If you are back to your original amount, you start from the beginning
A similar system is the system used by Martingale:
- Start with one bet
- If you lose, double the bet
- If you lose, double that bet
- If you lose again, double that bet and if all goes well you should win the fourth bet and be back to your original amount plus a small profit.
D'Alembert also adapted a similar system, but added a bet every time he lost and decreased the bet every time he won. The Contra D'Alembert system does the same in reverse - here you add a bet when you win.
A system which was developed for online roulette instructs you to do the following by placing bets only on the low, middle or high boxes. How do you play? See below:
- Watch the roulette wheel spin for 5 spins and write down how many times the ball drops into every category
- Once you see which category did not come up in the spins you place your bet on that category Roulette players all over the world each have their own betting system.
Some uses one or more lucky numbers and keep betting only on those numbers whether straight up or covering corners and split numbers. Others bet only on red or black boxes outside the numbers. Some covers the first 12 numbers or the second 12 numbers only, and then of course you get the players who just play all numbers.
